terminally ill to spend their final days. Located in a wooded area in Pensacola, the 7,000
square foot residence is the home to 30-60 patients each year.
The residence features six private bedrooms, adjoining
sitting rooms, a spacious great room, kitchen, dining area, therapy rooms, a chapel and a
variety of outdoor porches for the residents to enjoy the beautiful weather.
The only one of its kind in Northwest Florida, the Hospice Residence also provides the
necessary support and administrative areas for a professional staff of nurses, counselors,
social workers, chaplains, and various assistants. Strobel & Hunter, Inc. successfully
designed the Hospice Residence to ensure a homelike atmosphere and the best quality of
life possible for these terminally ill patients. |
